Ritual - Created by a woman who wouldn’t settle for less than the truth.
Who is Ritual?
Ritual was founded by Katerina Schneider in 2015 when Katerina was pregnant with her first child. According to the company’s website - when she was pregnant she found that most of the prenatal vitamins on the market were full of questionable ingredients, and decided to create her own brand. Katerina aired on The Skinny Confidential Podcast in Episode 555.
Due to Katerina’s findings about vitamins - or lack thereof - Ritual is built on the belief that better health starts with better ingredients. All products include in-depth information on how and where each ingredient was sourced - learn more about their ingredients here.
WHY RITUAL VS. OTHER VITAMINS?
Traceability: All of Ritual’s products are “traceable,” meaning that the company provides information on how and where each ingredient is sourced. I mentioned this earlier in the post, can you tell it’s super important to me ;) Clean ingredients always!
Quality: Fun fact! Each batch produced also undergoes testing by an independent lab to ensure quality and safety. We love a good follow-through!
Third-Party Testing: Ritual goes above and beyond in certifying/verifying its products so you can feel that much more confident in your daily Ritual. My favorite, Ritual Essential for Women (18+) is USP Verified, a third-party quality certification that sets one of the highest bars for product transparency. Did you know that less than 1% of multivitamins have earned this mark? The USP has tested and verified Ritual’s ingredients, potency, and manufacturing process of Essential for Women.
In The Skinny Confidential Podcast, Michael asks, “How are consumers supposed to decipher what’s good and what’s not?” (10:27):
Katerina mentions that there are 95,000 supplements on the market today and that any changes to regulations were 30 years ago and only 4,000 were on the market at that time. Navigating all of that can be difficult. Katerina said, “You have to stick with safety and ethics”. Really make sure that the products you take have third-party testing, which we know Ritual does!
In another segment of the podcast, Lauryn asks, “What are things in people’s vitamins, just generally, that would disgust them?” (30:00):
Katerina states, that as a culture, we focus on what products are made without rather than what our products are made with. She mentions hooves and hides (gelatin is made with this), and also states high mercury (especially prenatal vitamins). Katerina also said that a lot of vitamin capsules contain most of the nasty stuff! With that said, Ritual is vegan-friendly, gluten and major allergen-free, and Non-GMO Project Verified.
IMPORTANCE OF HAVING A MULTIVITAMIN!

My favorite part - the product itself is very aesthetically pleasing! I am always here for a “cute vitamin moment” for my bathroom shelf. Ritual vitamins come with 60 transparent, bead-filled capsules packaged in a sleek and stylish bottle. Each capsule was easy to swallow and featured a refreshing mint taste, which made taking my daily dose an enjoyable experience. I take 2 vitamins a day!
I am so happy with my decision to start my Ritual journey - I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do! 💕✨
