Latest Sephora Haul

I will start by saying, I am still a Beautycounter advocate and lover! Being in the influencer world I feel that I can’t just keep myself in a bubble when my job is to try products out and report back. So, you will be seeing me branching out and trying new products and sharing them like I am today. So, let’s start!

HD Skin Foundation: I had honestly never heard of this brand before but the worker at Sephora assured me it is the best foundation for skin that is naturally oily. We did a color match and we found the perfect shade from the 20+ shades they had. When I got home I washed my face right away to try it out - I was surprisingly pleased with the coverage. It is not heavy, but just a little heavier than my tinted moisturizer. This will be a great alternative when I need just little more coverage but, my Tinted Moisturizer will still be my every-day foundation!

Foundation brush: I’ve always applied my foundation with my fingers, but I thought I’d try to a brush to give my towels a break from all the make-up on them LOL This brush was created specifically for applying foundation. It has a dome shape was super soft bristles. It was super easy to use and helped the foundation to go on way smoother. For only $16, I’d say it’s definitely worth having in your brush stash. Beauty tip: Apply foundation to your face, then press or tap motions to blend into skin.

Bronzer stick: I’ve been using a powder bronzer for a few years, and I started noticing that it was rather hard to blend it when I was using a liquid foundation. I thought I’d try a cream bronzer to see how it worked and it was way easier to blend on my cheek bones. I applied a couple swipes to my cheek bones, blended up with a damp beauty blender and was super happy! The results were way more subtle and blended lol 10/10 recommend this product!

Highlighter: There was really no rhyme or reason why I grabbed this other than thinking the rose gold color was beautiful. I totally bought it on a whim. There is not much to say other than the color is stunning and works like a charm!

h20 Balm: This purchase was 100% influenced! A gal I follow was raving about it, so I thought I’d try it. It’s meant to be used as balm treatment with hydrating benefits. I’ll be honest, I didn’t really feel the hydration aspect to it but I did love how lightweight it was and the colors are pretty! I would say this isn’t something to run for but it’s worth having in your purse when you need a subtle pop of color.
