SWIMSUITS I’M CONFIDENTLY WEARING this summer
There can be a lot of stress and anxiety when it comes to swimsuit season or when you’re going on a vacation. I know this feeling firsthand, but I am here to help you rock the shit out of them this summer - confidently.
I want to start off my emphasizing that suits that compliment my body, might not compliment yours and that’s OK! It’s so important to be knowledgeable of which styles are best complimentary to YOUR body. When you know what type of cut or style that highlights your bodys best features, it leads to feeling way more confident when wearing them.
I recommend going to a store that you can try different styles on or ordering a handful of different styles to try on to see which styles best compliment my body that then leads me to feeling more confident poolside. Your perfect swimsuit depends on a number of factors, including specific styling preferences. This can help you determine whether you want to wear a one-piece suit, swim bottoms, a swim top, or all of them.
If you need help finding what swimsuit style might fit your body the best, I found this article on Macy’s website that helps guide you through some great tips! Hell, I even learned some new tips for myself LOL
Now I have not been able to wear a swimsuit in Montana yet (it’s only May as I am writing this), but I did just come back from a week in Mexico! I got BLOWN the ef up with all sorts of questions regarding my swimsuits and cover ups so you’ll be able to find them all here!
ONE PIECE’s
A solid color one piece is just a classic! You can style it up or down and feel like a million bucks. This black one was a quick grab from H&M for only 30 bucks. For my body, I personally like the higher leg cut like the white one has. Good American has some great options for us taller girlies as well.
TWO PIECES
Two-piece swimsuits used to be a love/hate for this girl, but after learning what cuts and styles best fit my body, they are much more fun to wear now.
As I mentioned, I prefer the high cut bottoms to help length my legs and I love a little extra coverage on the lower stomach for bad body image days. I also love a good underwire and thicker strap for better comfort and a little extra support for the girls. In my opinion, Abercrombie has totally killed it with their swim line this year and about 80% of my swimsuits are from them LOL I also love that they added the curve love option to their suits too!
