MOST WORN ITEMS IN MY CLOSET
It's quite funny. The pieces I wear the most in my day to day are probably the ones I share least around here. I find myself creating content that is trending and hot in the moment but am not sharing the true staple pieces of my closet. I thought today was a day to share some of the pieces I gravitate to daily. Some because it's easily accessible and others because they just go with everything. Let's dig in shall we?

1. Commando Faux Leather Leggings
Once I found this brand at SOMETHINGchic, I literally pilled up my Spanx collection and sold all of them. I would say Spanx is more of an athleisure/workout look whereas Commando passes for more of a fitted leather pant look. I would say the material is just tad thicker. I love that Commando's pants go up a smidge higher over my hips to help tuck everything in. Oh, can't forget about the hem! I love that it is a raw hem and can cut them yourself if needed. They run true to size.
What I love most about them is that you can dress them up or down. On the go kinda days, I can pair them up with a sweatshirt, sneakers + a hat and still feel put together. Date night? I throw on some black booties, favorite band tee and a leather jacket for that main character energy vibe.
This is a great option for all of you Golden Goose lovers but don't want to pay the $500 GG price. These are about $400 cheaper and have the same quality, if not better. Call me lazy but I love that I can just slip these on and that they go with just about anything. They can help add a little razzle dazzle to a casual outfit or I can pair them with an outfit for a night out. They run true to size - they stretch out just a touch but nothing too worry about.
3. Pocket Tee's
These are so good I literally have 3 of these tee's in white because I wear them so.much. I wear them with jeans, shorts, leggings, around the house.. you name it. My favorite way to wear this tee is with leggings, sneakers + a leather jacket. I like to size up and wear a large for that oversized fit.
4. Baseball hat
I have so many hats but the one I tend to reach for the most of my good ol' white NY baseball hat. Goes with anything and is great for those not so great hair days. Favorite way to wear a baseball hat is with anything and everything. Literally lol Beware for people making sports references to you.. *go sports. Just smile and nod sis, smile and nod.
Ok, this was a little bit of splurge but this Mauritius is hands down my favorite jacket. This is the jacket I find myself always reaching for, with any outfit. Again, can wear it year round and it's a timeless piece. I love that it goes in and frames my waist and the quality is just oh so gooood. The attention to detail from the zippers to the wash of the leather. UGH. Did I mention how much I love this jacket? Ok, ok. Back on track. Two ways I love to rock this leather jacket is with one of my Z Supple tees, layered necklaces + my fav pair of jeans with some heels. Another more laid back look is with a sweatshirt underneath and leggings. #basicb
