ADOPT-A-TEACHER
I do not take this platform and having you here for granted. As much as I love sharing fashion and beauty finds with some body confidence - I also want to use my platform to help others.
Last year I was invited to a Facebook group to help support local teachers get supplies ready for the school year. This year, I want to bring it to my personal platform. This page will be dedicated to our amazing educators leading up to the school year! Teachers spend so much of their own money on getting supplies, snacks and much needed items for their classrooms. This is a group where you can adopt a teacher to help offset these costs.
Adopters: Please not need feel that you have to buy the whole list, only if you are able to! All you need to do is e-mail or DM me to let me & my team know which teacher you are adopting.
We had 25 teachers submit an Amazon wish list! If we are able to help all teachers, we will open submissions back up before the school year 💖
Let’s show our educators how appreciated they are!

5TH GRADE
I am a 5th grade Literacy teacher in small town Ohio. Students in my classroom are creative, lively, and determined. They are fearless and face whatever challenges come their way with a smile on their face and a positive attitude! The perseverance they display daily is truly inspiring. While our small-town location may limit our resources, the kids never give up and do not stop until they've reached their goals! We are not provided much when it comes to our classrooms, so a lot of what we do have is teacher funded. I never want my students to miss out or lack things because of circumstances they cannot change. The items on my wish list will help my students grow academically, socially, and emotionally while providing them with opportunities or experiences they may not have otherwise. Even one thing on the list can make all of the difference! Thank you so much for all that you do to help the students and their teachers. It is appreciated more than you know! ❤️

SPECIAL EDUCATION
Hi there! My name is Sarah and I’m a teacher in Massachusetts. This will be my sixth-year teaching but first year as a special education teacher. I teach in an urban district where the majority of my kiddos are underprivileged, and English is their second language. I am starting from scratch in the sense that this is a new role, so having any help with my wish list is huge. Thank you so much for doing this! It is truly incredible. 🤍

2ND GRADE
My name is Katie and I will be beginning my eighth year of teaching in Alexandria, VA in the fall. I have always taught 4th grade, but this year I will be moving to 2nd grade. Most of the items on my wish list are books that are needed for younger students since I am switching grades. I work in a Title 1 school, where the far majority of our students are economically disadvantaged. Our students come to school excited and eager to learn. These books will help build my classroom community to be a safe and welcoming environment for each and every one of my students. Thank you so much for supporting me to create a community of readers!

KINDERGARDEN
I am a kindergarten teacher at an elementary school where about 80% of students come from a low-income household. I wanted to be a nurse but had a part time job as a teacher assistant and fell in love with the profession. It will be my third-year teaching. I enjoy seeing so much growth in my students. Most students are unable to write their name and by the end of the year are writing complete sentences and some even small stories. I appreciate any donations big or small. I am very thankful for it all.

5TH GRADE
My name is Olivia Culver. I teach 5th grade at Algood Middle School in Cookeville, TN. This will be my 7th year teaching. I teach in a rural area, so a lot of times students do not come to class with the supplies they need. I try my best to keep my room stocked with the basics so they do not worry about not having a pencil, paper, etc. everyday. Any purchase off of this list helps me greatly.

5TH GRADE
This is my 10th year teaching 5th grade at Starling Elementary in Grayson, GA.
I moved to the United States in 1983 at the age of 7 from a small village with no electricity or running water. I faced many challenges, but I am forever grateful to have the opportunity to live the American Dream!
My wish list is centered on the whole learner and not just academics.
My goal with my wish list is to help create an inclusive environment where all learners, and their families feel seen, cared for, and valued. By using read aloud stories, my hope is to incorporate important cultural aspects into our classroom.
I am very passionate about culture, my students’ well-being, and learning. I strive to provide a loving environment where students grow both socially and academically because they are our future.

TRAUMA SPECIALIST
I’m a School Social Worker for a title 1 elementary school in Newberg, Oregon. The school is currently under major construction and the student population consists primarily of young children living below the line of poverty. I’m new to the district, actually leaving the state of CT to join the faculty at Edwards Elementary in Newberg, Oregon.
I’m a trauma specialist working with young children. My approach is to mix play, social skills and learning to help children thrive in the school environment. I love being creative with my kids and helping them to build skills that will last them a lifetime.

MIDDLE SCHOOL
Born and raised in Billings, MT but currently living in St. Louis, Missouri with my husband and almost 4-year-old son. I am going into my ninth year of teaching as a middle school Language Arts teacher. I love the question, “What do you teach?” Because when I answer middle school, I get “oh wow, you’re brave.” I have learned quickly that middle school is either a good memory or a really bad memory, and it is my mission every year that my students leave my classroom with great memories. This starts from the moment they walk through the door to a warm, calm, inviting classroom. My classroom becomes a family. Any donations from my list help create a lifelong memory for my middle schoolers.

SPECIAL EDUCATION
I am a special education social worker, at a rural middle school in Maine. I work with kids grades 6-8 who have a variety of needs. I absolutely LOVE my job, and I think mental health is imperative to holistic wellness. I want my students to value their mental health and never see therapy as meaning there is something “wrong” with them. The students in this community are incredibly vulnerable to generational trauma, substance use, and poverty. I am currently trying to create a “calming space” in our building for ALL students to access. Help me help them, and invest in their mental well-being!! I know they would appreciate anything.

COLLEGE
I am entering my second year as the Career and College Counselor at a small high school in the Pacific Northwest and it is the most addicting and humbling job on planet earth- I am the luckiest. After a huge career shift in my mid-thirties, I have completely fallen in love with this emerging generation and the young men and women who will be entering it with their creativity and passion to leave it better then they found it.
My list definitely has some bigger items, but these will be well loved investments that will continue to nurture and support kids for decades and even if you can’t purchase something on my list, I’m so glad I got this moment to tell you that the future is bright, and this generation is incredible. Go Eagles!

LAURYN P.
7TH GRADE
My name is Lauryn and I am a 7th grade math teacher from Illinois! This upcoming school year will be my 5th year teaching at my school as well as my 5th year overall and I will officially be tenured! 7th grade has always been a sweet spot for me as the kiddos have their own personalities but are still wanting to learn. Math is not every student’s strong subject, but I want to teach them that it possible to do difficult things. My goal is obviously to teach math, but also teach my students how to be good humans and make a positive impact each and every day! I absolutely love my job and am so grateful to be a small part of my student’s education journey!

I am SO excited for this change, but with this change, I will need a lot of things that I do not have for a general education classroom. I would so appreciate the support in helping build my 4th grade classroom. 🥰
